Shar’s Hands Nonprofit
Our small, but mighty, 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is driven to lend a helping hand when and where it is needed. We meet our community in their moments of need to assist, uplift and honor families, children, groups and individuals alike.
Our Services
Women & Children
We partner with local women and children in shelters to help provide essential toiletries, clothing, and basic needs. We host events throughout the year to engage the children, uplift the women and celebrate holidays.
Food & Shelter
Shar’s Hands provides support to families struggling to pay bills or put food on the table. If we are not able to assist with their needs directly, we will connect them with community resources to assist.
Honoring Veterans
To help honor and celebrate the veterans at our local veterans hospital, we host monthly bingo nights and an annual Veterans Barbecue. During these events we provide cheer, giveaways, and essentials to attendees.
Holidays
Each year, we host an annual Santa’s Workshop, Thanksgiving breakfast and an Easter event, among others. We also assist families with requests to help make their holidays special and meaningful.
Birthdays & Celebrations
Partnering with other local organizations, we help parents celebrate their children’s birthdays, graduations and special milestones by providing age-appropriate gifts and celebration items.
Size-Up Program
Children grow, seasons change, it is difficult to keep them in age, size and seasonally appropriate clothing, shoes and outerwear. Our Size Up Program helps outfit children in need throughout the year.

Dinner & Games
Provided dinner and entertainment for the men at the local shelter. Thank you to Olive Garden for assisting with the food.
Post-Easter Celebration
We participated in a Post Easter Event, providing food, fun and games at a local park in Coatesville.
Easter Baskets & Outfits
With the help of our friends at Partner’s in Outreach, we handed out more than 250 Easter Baskets and outfits to our community.
Assistance with Essentials
With assistance from donations, our team is assembling Welcome Kits for new residents of our local shelter. No one should go without essentials!
